This is our second year of Diesel Drag racing at the Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove Wisconsin. Again this year you can compete in the Diesel Hot Rod Association national points series, but you are not required to do so. Here is a link to the DHRA site for information on that. We will have a total of seven races where we will accumulate points for our own championship and payout. You may even win both! Sign up for email updates from Great Lakes Dragaway here.
These are bracket-races where everyone has an equal chance of winning, no matter how fast their truck is. There will be a payout of 70% of all entry fees with payouts going to the winner, runner up, and semi-finalists. Additionally the fastest time of the day will get a payout. (Time must be recorded during elimination round.)

Gates open 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Eliminations start around 8:00 PM
$50.00 to race with 70% going to payout at this race.
$12.00 for spectators

I was running full street trim (7100#) and trapping 13.1 @ 103. That was exactly how I run it on the street, so I was happy.

I'm assuming that bad ass Impala was yours. I loved it, but you need to have the clocks on once!

haha,wasnt very impressive last night,my stock posi has seen better days,and so has the trans...time to upgrade a little bit,maybe some lower mileage stock parts.

I had such shitty luck on friday. First off I've learned I need boost to launch. Secondly when I did the MAF scrren in the sensor almost got sucked into the turbo. Sorry for the off-topic.


But yeah some of those truks get up and go. Too bad no one let the guy in the red Chevy or Ford know how to stage.
