View Full Version : Lake geneva....56k..no go

The wife and I went to Lake Geneva this weekend. If you're ever looking for something to do I highly recommend you take a drive down there and take a boat tour of the lake. LOTS of history on that lake...and BIG houses/mansions. All the pictures were taken from the boat (fairy)...probably about 500-700 ft. off shore. Hard keeping th camera steady...plus photobucket sucks for quality. You can see the humidity in the pictures.

Awesome!!
Its a blast just cruising around on boats/jet skiis all day on that lake.

Nice pics! Looks like a fun place to take jet skis as was already said... Hrmm maybe next year I'll buy a jet ski or two...

I love the houses and the lake but I personally wouldn't buy a house on the lake. I would just rather have a house without tons of people around me. That's just me though.

Bah, try living 10 mins from lake geneva when everyone from illinois invades LG and your town! talk about a PITA

On the plus side though, when it is this time of year, the ladies do roll in, which makes the bars quite interesting!

personally i stay away from the lake during the day. too many assholes from illinois on 200 ft ******* boats creating 10 foot waves. i go at night and fish

A 17-year-old Lake Geneva girl was arrested in Burlington July 2 on allegations of possession of marijuana and driving under its influence.

When asked if she'd been smoking marijuana, she said no.

When asked again, she said, "I was at a concert."

When asked a third time, she said yes, police reported.

Her parents came to pick her up at the station, but according to the police report, "they were intoxicated."

The girl was released to her 21-year-old brother.
