Second chance, anyways. I big on a 68 Triumph Bonneville a few weeks ago, and recieved the second chance offer this morning. Anybody wanna roll with me to pick it up? I will probably head down there saturday afternoon, its in Elgin Illinois ( 1 hr 30 min or so away ).

It was a 68 with a 72 motor, but apparently its one of those scams cause now the guy said he lives in ireland, although on the ebay auction it clearly stated it was located in Elgin, Il. I hate ebay scum

Ahhh, how charming! I hope they didn;t get any $$ out of you for it. If so my van would make it to Ireland to kick Bono's lyin ass......
I was going off of the 69/70 front brake. I'm happy with any pre 71 frame, I hate the OIF stuff they drive like a clapped out Sportster.
Too bad the days of $50 basket case Brit bikes are gone. Like most good things I didn't appreciate them!

Hmnnn... what year is it? Wouldn't mind having an early single cam 750... Maybe with sand cast cases????
