Well I don't remember if I said something here or not, but I bought another car.:goof
I have to drive out to CO to get it and it looks like I'll be going in August sometime. Now IT will be getting the 455 that WAS going to go into the wagon. It would already be in the wagon but my truck decided it only needed 7 spark plugs so it needed to go back in to daily service .:rolf
So I'll be dumping what's left of my 86 442 after I take out the motor and trans and a couple other things and my 64 442 will be leaving too, it's too far gone which is the reason I bought this one.

Here's some pics:

Which truck is that? Not the FORD , is it??:rolf Lemme guess, the furthest one back on the passenger side left the head and took the threads with it?

Looks like a really clean Cutlass! Once you go rust free, you don't go back ;).

Close third one back on pass side, Yep the Ford.

Whoever thought they needed a million f-ing bolts to hold the valve cover on needs a kick in the junk:goof
If I had it to do over again I might not have pulled the V/C to make sure the valves were closed. But better safe than sorry.
The timesert kit actually is pretty good, if a bit expensive @$350, but it beats $3300 the ford dealer wanted for a new head and install:wow
I'll probably ebay the kit off now, all the other plugs were tight, just one wanted to leave. I slapped in fresh plugs all around.
I just finished the truck this morning and drove it around the greater West Allis / New Berlin area and it seems good to go.:headbang

The trunk has some pinholes and is supposed to be a little soft but I have the trunk pan kit already. Now I can sell the pass compartment floorpans:headbang

Yep, but I paid more for it. Probably why the guy doesn't car that I'm not coming till Aug.:thumbsup It was his idea for 90 days to pick up though.
My wife was bidding for my while I was at work:headbang
But I had to run to the computer at work in the last 2 minutes to seal the deal.:rolf
I actually had to out bid my wife since she was at the high end of her proxy bid, and she wanted me to finish it off.
I got it for ~$735 if I remember right, it was at about $200 the morning of the last day and went up in the last 6-8 hours
