Anybody have "real world" timeslips for stock 5.0 LXs at our
track? Have a mildly modified 5spd car I would like to get an
idea, not Road and Tracks corrected formulas GLD times.

K&N, phenolic, cam, 4:10, posi, stock headers/cats but seem
to flow thru the Flowmasters quite easily. Crapy tires will be
an issue but from watching other 5.0s at track Im guessing
no worse than most. No AC or AIR pump, underdrive pulleys,
flex fan, 180 stat. Probably more little items I am not seeing.

None that I see, kicker shocks look new.

If you launch it well it should be in the 14's around 94-96mph. Its all in the 60' and the shifting.(If everything else is mechanically right)
Good Luck!

Somewhere in the 14.4-14.6 range I would think. Sam is right...it will all be in the 60' with that. Just play with launch RPM and don't just dump the clutch.

13's can be had the addition of exhaust and sticky tires!

High 13s should be no problem. I ran 13.9s with my bone stock 88 GT on street tires back in the early/mid 90s.

Well see what I can do. :headbang

Got some things to *freshen up* before some track runs though.

I own the car now ;)

So...apparently it ran 14.2's (when Russ had the car) with...

4!! KOEO codes and 2 memory codes in the computer. :banana1:
2 of them were for the EGR. So basically it's been in limp mode the whole time?

Got 1 month to fix it before emissions!!! :headbang :durr

these really don't have much of a limp home mode though, not like the new ones.

EGR wouldn't affect @ WOT. Probably a little sluggish @ mid throttle, eh?

nice new car Lash.
