FINALLY MY 1st NEW CAR

Well I have went thru about 5 or 6 cars now. And today I was fourtunate enough to buy my first NEW car. I bought a 06 Chevy Coblat SS. Its a fun little car. Well see what mods come along. I have the stage2 Kit on it already. But theres lots in the works. Plan on ditching the rear spoiler and debagging the car for starters.

Ill Get some pics up tomorrow as i didnt have time to clean it when i picked it up today.

Stage 2 should be good for easy high 13's.....some/alot hit mid 13's. It's all in the launch. Trans and clutch can actually hold a good amount of power.

And I believe HP Tuners is working on the software.

Actually...alot of the SS's will put down 220+ to the wheels....stock.

They make HP tuners currently for the LSJ's ill be tweaking on it soon im sure.

HEHe HP tuners is in my hands already! TOm what you doing tonight haha! I took the rear spoiler off it and and painted the front bowtie. Jeffs right with the injectors/pulley/reflash on the stage 2. Trannys and clutch rock. Just depends how much money you have to replace the 18s on the car:wow

Thanks for the compliments. Hopefully ill be able to get it to the track soon. From what I have been seeing the car should do a 14.5ish without a problem.

They are coming out with a lot of parts for these. I keep on the redline and cobalt forums daily to read up on their accomplishments. The fastest stock was a 13.9 by a guy named Barry on the Redline Forums. The fastest Cobalt (Not an SS) was in the 9's (http://cobaltss.net/forums/showthread.php?t=20845) so they have lots of potential.

yeah things are coming out fast for these. pretty soon the SRT-4s may have some rivals. but the cobalt is still new.

i like them but i just thought they were overrated. hopfully that stage 2 makes it worth while...:thumbsup

well thats what i like to hear. i like these cars somewhat, but im in the middle still. i like the color as well. I was hoping GM would make a good FWD car, but i have not seen too many decent colabts.. make me a believer. so when are you taking it out for all to see??

well it was broke in the day i got it but i plan on going to the track with it next week. Depends when i have time me and tom were going to go see what the DDs can do.
