Bought a new daily driver

[BAD LS1]

Well i splurged on a bright red w/ polished 18" wheels 2006 Monte Carlo SS tonight...

Sent the honda down the road after 10 months.

That 0% intrest makes people do funny things:rolf

Monthly payment went up 65$ and lost 10MPG... and get a hell of alot more car, and high 13 sec 1/4 mile times.

dude u wont get over how loose the converter is stock! me and chris m drove one at heiser, and it i spooled it up to 3K at a stop before it would even think of over powering the brakes. just driving around it free revs up to like 4k like nothing.

Gotta hang on to the wheel though under WOT its got some wicked torque steer.

I will be working on a tune for it tonight, just gotta wait for HP tuners to get the credits to me.

70 miles on it and its gonna get a good work over on the PCM, no more torque managment making it die on the 1-2 shift.

they are mostly in the low 14's, some hit high 13's. one guy hit a 13.6 stock
CAI, catback & DP should be a good start, sucks that nobody has headers yet.

Interestingly enough that LS4 has 243 heads. so now they're LS2/4/6 heads.

Correct. This kinda the next best thing to it, very close in performance, and it gets better mpg and the price is better...

Besides i dont think i could have found a TB SS matching what i wanted by July 5th anyway LOL
