Well the wife and I have our interview today with immigration. This basically determans whether or not they will give her a green card. Huge deal!!! I feel kinda weird sitting down telling a total stranger how we met and fell in love and all the details of our everyday life... Oh well. Gotta do what we gotta do. Wish us luck...

Good Luck!

I can sort of see why they are so thorough. Probably looking out for you (the man/citizen) because they've seen the casualties of the "mail-order" brides and how the dude gets shafted more times than not once she is granted citizenship.

WHATEVER you do, don't act out the details of your everyday life!

Well we just got home and it went pretty good. Turns out the officer interviewing us was in Vegas the same day we got married celebrating his anniversary.

They granted her "conditional permanent residence" which I guess is what they do for any couple married less then 2 years. We may have to go back for a followup interview or 2, but FINALLY the agonizing pile of applications (that have to be filled out in quadruplicate) and fees is over!!!

Thanks for the comments guys!! :thumbsup

u_say_go, we told him the hookup story of how we first met! :devil

Time to celebrate tonight with some giant beers!!!
I think happy hour at BW3's will do nicely!!

She is from Poland. Came here originally in 2002 through a work program and that's kinda how we met. Not to sound sappy, but there was a whole ton of fate workin for us! She was originally supposed to go to Great Britan but that got delayed, so she came to the states. She had the choice of New York, New Jersey, or Wisconsin. Her friends worked with me before at Quad so they talked her into coming to Wisconsin. The rest is history!

Glad the TPI parts worked for you! I still have my centerbolt valve covers that I cleaned up but couldn't use. If you want em, they're yours.

BTW. You went to MHS with my friends wife. She recognized you when you came to get the parts. Remember Sara Vallen? That's Max 93's (Matt) wife. That's who's house you met me at.

Ok, somebody needs to take the keyboard away from me!!:alcoholic

Cool, a pollack ;). A couple friends of mine are 100% polish and pretty proud about it. I did go to MHS and naturally I remember Sara, we were in the same 6th grade class together even, small world!

Might take you up on those covers, don't *need* them but I was going to remove and clean up mine as they could use a re-paint but maybe your's will do and are in better shape even perhaps.
