Yay Popped Another Piston!!!!!!

well what a sh1tty day:crying . started to get a loud tick this morning out of no where and thought it was a header exhaust leak, so I went on my marry way.


well about 2 hours ago she let loose about 5 min from my house ( thank god it happened there, it only cost me 42 bux to get it towed lol )

now heres where it gets REALLY shitty. I just replaced my old blown motor with this one, not even a month ago............:rolf

all I can do it laugh at this point..cause if I were to think about it, Id prolly go find a book of matches, light one and drop it in my gas tank!!!!!!:flipoff2:

What do you all have done to your GTP? Just wondering, as I had two GTP's that I modded but never chipped a piston. When I sold me 2nd GTP this spring everyone was having problems. Just wondering if there is bad stuff out there or if people just have no clue what they are doing.

to muhc to list, I was right around 350 untuned, and I was WORKINg on the tune, but the motor just let loose for NO reason!!!! :(

Pistons don't just pop for no reason. I am guessing you were tuning and went lean.

well I pulled the spark plugs today.......guess what I found...NOTHING....SOOO im thinking I might have dropped a valve....hmmmmm!!!

From what i hear, there was some minor issues not related to the engine, boosted on low psi they are making good power. So it seems like they did good so far.
