ill post more pictures once more parts come in. Then ill have time to mock everything up and get the car ready.
I'd like it to be faster when I'm done with it. That usually is the goal :)

I have a perfect bracket made for the rear end if you need to use it. It mounts to the tranny jack. Let me know. Actually you can have it if you want.

Friday Brent and I were able to button the motor up, just looking to clean the engine bay and then drop it back in.

top end looks really nice shiny and black as opposed to dull.
also the headers being black gives a neat look.

Finished putting the car together on friday. Thanks brent, willy, brad, kyle you were still use-less from thursday night.
Today I lost 3rd gear, looks like the short season might be over, unless i decide to rebuild it fast. At least I can get Kyle his motor now

So was I, I got to put about 20 miles on it today.... That trans did hold up well for what I put it through.
consistant 1.5xx-1.6xx 60's, 45 track passes, half on 150 shot out of the hole

I seen that crate in the back of a colorado down at the dyno challenge. I was convinced that my need for a motor would propel my body to lift it into my truck, lol. Very tempting, good thing im not a criminal, haha. OH and that should be an awesome project when done, good luck!

The pan is getting dropped tonight and we'll start the dis-assembly again. I'm getting good at dropping that rear subframe, not as good as forest with his 30 minute C5 clutch changes. :rolf

I have a perfect thingy made for the rear end if you want it otherwise I am going to throw it away. It bolts to the top of a trans jack. 30min clutch change?????? You coming to the bonfire, you can grab it there.

Well as you can see the drum is a little rough, the 3-4 steels are burnt and the 3-4 clutches have a cone curve to them. No where near flat like they should be.
The trans is back together and going into the car tuesday.
