For those that have become attached to it as I have, it's time to kick it to the curb! :stare
While diong the 6mo/10K primer servicing earlier this week, I decided to go a bit deeper with the wet sanding before reprimering and decided its time to throw some paint on the thing. It's still going to get its time at a body shop to get the whole car sprayed and other isues taken care of, so this is a 'in the meantime' type project. I have absolutely no painting experience besides model cars & places from gradeschool, so my expectations are mediocre at best. Picked up some paint code matched spray bomb from napa and went to town. I still need more paint to fully cover the front before clearcoating si It'll be a few days before its done, but so far I'm very happy with the results as Im really taking my time with this....
In homage to the days of primer, I'm going to have 2 grandsport hash marks in gray on the fender when its done- and so the car is still recognizable:goof .
