i love his quote

Gurney said, "Well the simple fact is I stopped and I was going to walk. But there was a helicopter - so I was like, 'Screw that. Where am I going to go?'"

go figure that he didn't have a DL

I see no problem with that. It's news, and they were reporting it, thats what they get paid to do. Most police departments around here don't have helicopters, don't really need them, because police chases around here are very sparse. Most LAPD precincts don't have helicopters. A lot of chases you see in LA are being followed by a news chopper. Besides, with the way he was driving, he seriously could have crashed and killed an innocent victim just because he didn't want to go to jail for driving without a license. What if he crashed and killed a close family member of yours... and the suspect could have been apprehended sooner if the chase was being followed by a helicopter? Would you still say its bs?

oh yeah and it wasnt a Cavalier, it was a 94 Corsica. Ran the VIN on it. Got the VIN off of Wisconsin Circuit Court Access website.

It is cavalier. Just look at the back side window. The car is to short to be a cavalier. The newest record is 5-3-06. Thats over a month old.

plates are still the same though for every car registered, so is the vin. plus if this guy hasn't paid a dime on any of his tickets (they are all still unpaid) what makes you think he could afford a different car?

but regardless of what it is, that guy is dumb as hell.
