Tommy's Dad had an Orange '69 Yenko, but sold it and now has an unconverted Yenko/COPO car which is SUPER cool!

Not really a fan of the color, but it is a nice looking car.

Can't make anyone love the color, but it was an original code 65 (olympic gold) car so it had to get it. :rolf

If anyone is going to the GM Nationals this weekend at Carlisle it will be there in one of the indoor buildings. :)

Was that the one that was on the 2-post electric lift during the car show? The 91 orig. mile jobber! If so, I cant believe that thing is already done. Looked like it had a long ways to go!

thats the one! (it has 92.5 miles, due to a roadtest)

Story goes, it was bought at Berger Chevrolet in 1969 by **** Aron Racing. It was then painted Red and it was raced. After that it sat in storage until it was purchased. We got it and reverted it back to Gold and detailed the rest. Last time it was raced I heard it pulled a mid 11 time. The motor is pretty much stock with only headers.

Ah so it's not a true 92.5 mile car?? I thought it actually only had 92.5 miles, but most likely it went further than that if it was raced...

Not necessarily... having 92.5 miles is like 23 trips down the track. I'm sure a lil less for drive time to the track... but hey, coulda just taken it there a couple times to see what it could do before/after headers.

Well for me to hit speeds of over 100mph it's gotta be longer than a 1/4 mile :durr And I said most likely... :goof
