I know alot of people that have taken thier cars to those places and have had very few complaints. Most of us here know Jim Moran from Speed Inc- he does fantastic work.

why?
speed INC is the classic answer for anything with 4th gen f-bodies, LS1s especially.

Every guy with an F-body should know that Speed Inc is top notch, they know their **** and are the midwest specialists :thumbsup

I had my **** done down there for the most part

Brad/UnderPSI had his **** done down there.

Although, the tunes are good, they'll leave something to be desired if you want to get ALL the way to the edge. They understandably have to have some sort of safety to their tunes.

Speed Inc not only has great guys but they also offer great advice and starter tips for us newbie LS1 owners. Not only did they help me with the install of my ZO6 stuff but also dyno tuned the car perfectly. Honestly, it was the best money I ever spent. The car runs perfectly every time and it's generously modded.

Hell, you can't beat free shipping on most orders also. Headers, y-pipe and catback all delivered to my door...that poor FEDEX guy...I've got some places NOT to go, if interested I can PM you.

Of course, Speed Inc is in Schaumberg, IL so it's not exactly Milwaukee but worth the trip.

Talk to Tom at speed inc. Shoot him an e-mail and he will respond faster than anyone I've ever dealt with. The best customer service around and will pricematch anything.

I also do LS1 work also. If you've seen my car, I have a pretty wild twin turbo LS1. P.m. me for any tech questions you might ever have, I can give you legit answers without trying to sell you something.

Good luck!

I see your using a t400, mind if I ask what gears you went with in your 12 bolt and what size tire you use, 28" 26"?

I run a 3.42 gear and a 26" tire.:)

For the person who asked how 750 RWHP (Approx. 940 hp @ crank) turned into 1000 hp at the crank..... I made that at only 14 psi, I run 16 psi and have upgraded turbos. The car now makes over 1000 hp at the crank.:)

What is with the comment?:chair:

I actually own a F-body, and have been wrenching on them for over 5 years now, i know the car's and their drivetrain inside and out. I can do rear end work, manual trans rebuilds (T56), TC swaps, suspension, electrical, internal engine, exhaust....

There are alot of people i helped out on the board that i have done work for that im sure would be willing to back my reputation.

yep, Tom's (BAD LS1) a GREAT guy!! Those who know me know how picky I am about my car. If I ever decide to swap a different cam in, I will be contacting Tom for sure. He installed my gears a couple months ago and I love 'em :)

Since I'm having so much trouble getting my header's and such to seal up how much do you charge to do a header swap? I've done it myself but I just don't have the time.

Badls1 is a great tuner you can trust. Did my car tune and I am planning a rear end gear change for him to do. You can trust him to do good work. Rick:headbang
