Got this off of another one of my boards this morning (happened yesterday):

Yes, you read that right! About 2 mi's down from the top we come around the corner and see a silver Noble M12 burning along the side of the mountain!! WTF???!!!

There was an older gentlemen driving the car up the mountain. He got to said spot and the car died on him. When he stopped, he noticed black smoke go rolling past him and he knew that he was in trouble. He pulled the E-brake and went to step out of the car. The brake didnt hold and the car started rolling down the hill. He got caught in the door, got knocked over, drug for about 20ft and then got out of the way. The car proceeded to roll down the hill, go around a corner and back into the wall and burn down to nothing but the frame! He was OK, but the car is done for.

Little history about the car. He bought it 3yrs. ago for about $75-$80grand. The third time he drove the car, the motor let loose. It has sat for nearly 2 years. Couldn't find anyone to help him rebuild it or work on it. Finally, he got it rebuilt and running again and tuesday was the first day he drove it in the last 2 years, and it burns to the ground on top of Pike's Peak!! Bad luck. The car was #007! Ain't the a biyatch!!!

Anyway, I got some pics and video because I figured that you all would wanna see it, so here are the pics.

Ummm....yeah. I am sure the guy was buried in the car and this was the easiest way to wash his hands of it.
