Greetings. A small handfull of y'all here know me (mostly in the f-bod crew).

My toys of relevance are a white '95 Z28 and a blue '01 Aprilia RSV Mille (That'd be a v-twin litre sportbike for those wondering wtf aprilia is).

The Z has recently been re-awakened. It sat undriven for 18 months. This week I busted out a new battery and got her running, then busted out the cleaning products and have been bringing her back online. Sometime this summer the engine bay will get some TLC. Probably closer to the end of season.

I basically stopped driving it because two issues popped up and at the time I just wasn't interested in dealing with them - electrical and lack of a/c. Mebbe I'm a wuss, but I really like having AC available. :D

Now the electrical issue has been resolved (thanks for the assist, D) and the a/c shouldn't be too bad to deal with..I hope.

Although I've got no complaints about my daily driver...I'd forgotten how much I missed unleashing the Z. :banana1:

And no, that is not my house in the background, that's my neighbor's house.

For some reason, 8 out of 10 people who see that shot ask "Is that your house?" Why yes. I rolled over to my neighbor's house, parked my bike on their sidewalk and took a pic with my house in the background. Heeeere's your sign.

Oh...the only mod on the bike is the replacement of the pictured boat anchor of a muffler with a Leo Vinci...that and the unintended plastic surgery it's received due 1 bout of avoiding a deer (lowsided in gravel that I wouldn't have gone into if it weren't for a deer), 1 of vandalism (pushover on right side) and one dumbass mistake (rolled off throttle while leaned over a bit too much. Massive engine braking caused the front to wash out.)

Damn that bike looks good. My friend used to have one just like it but in the flat black. They look like they are a blast to ride :thumbsup

And by the way....I'm pretty good with a camera and have pretty good equipment. Haven't shot too much recently but some of the shots in the SBN chicks "***** Posse" calendar were my work.

Strangely I haven't shot any pics of chicks w/ my vehicles though. Heh. I keep meaning to throw a few more action shots and such up online but never do. :P

Thanks! Yeah, it's a hoot. Sounds very much like the Duc 996 when I get on it. For straight up power and 1/4 runs, your RR would be right with it. The big difference is making power down low vs having to wring the snot out of it. I rode a friend's 05 600RR a while back and it was quite fun and tipped in nicely...but it was just weird having it not "wake up" until 8 grand. I killed it once trying to leave the parking lot at the same throttle / RPMs I do on mine. Not happening. :)

As to the pics...here's a quick sample I have online of the kinds of shots I like to take. However, this hasn't been completely cleaned up (dust spec on lens, etc)...

http://www.magsairsoft.com/images/3606_1024.jpg That's from 2004 I think.

I have a pet peeve about "action" shots where it looks like the vehicle is parked - no blur in the wheels or background, etc. Like prop airplaines or helicopters with the prop / blades "frozen in time". Just doesn't look right.
