Andy, what kind is that?

There's a shiat load of these ones in my backyard that are a tan color with tiny black spots and redish heads. They chase eachother from bush to bush all day long.

Tried catching one but those fawkers can run!

I caught two in Florida, one in the water (struggling for dear life),

and the other on a tree while he was running (ran quick)

he played a dead act on me and got away ;)

BLK02TA,
Mine is a Beared Dragon, and they dont bite at all. They are as nice as a pet can be.

Heat Seeker WS6,
Mine is a Sunfire Pastel (orange beard). I really dig the green yours has in the eyes and beard.

?????????????? Only lizards to live in WI are tiny little 7 line
racers on extreme SW corner of the state. Beyond that the
tiny little skinks are found in a few spotted areas. Pretty
interesting info if you actualy have a number living in your
back yard!

Thanks, he's an Australian- don't remember the exact species off hand.
When he's very happy his gold & green gets more pronounced. Is 23" nose to tail.
Like Andy's, he's not mean at all and I can handle him just about any time- the very reason why I got the Beardie not an Iguana or something. Now that its warm out, I'll have him out of his cage and he just clings to my shirt and 'hangs out' with me.

However I got bit once and it was my own fault....
One of the 1st times I was fedding him blueberries (his favorite food in the whole world) I made the mistake of dabbing my finger in the juice after they were all gone to see if he would lick it. :goof To him it was the biggest and juciest one yet- he ran accross the cage and clamped down on it & wouldn't let go. Felt like dozens of prickling needles at once but didn't break skin. It took a minute or two to get him to let go of my finger.

To russel, I'm a wisconsin local in the army stationed at Fort Irwin CA. All I have in my backyard is desert. Every now and then when I come out to my car, part of the heard from my back yard is chillin in the shade under neath. Of course when I get close they take off like assholes. I'll catch one eventualy.

wtf...
I've NEVER seen a lizard in SE WI, ever.
We have a fatass toad that hangs around my mom's house in the Falls all the time, but even those are super rare.
I saw a green tree frog in one of those park/forest attractions we have <can't remember the name> most exotic I've seen :goof

We have 2 species of rattlesnakes here in WI as well Wicked!

The Timber rattlesnake is a very heavy bodied snake that lives
along the Miss. and WI river area, the Massasauga has lived
throughout the southern half of WI until early 1900's but other
than Delevan its gone less a sizable area around the dells.
