Yeah i tweaked it a bit, you should have seen the tune up it had prior from the people who installed the cam:stare Lets just say it it was almost reading 1000 Mv for the o2 outputs at WOT:eek:

Seems the MPH is suffering for having a cam though... I would have guess 113+ for an auto.

I asked because I have a tune for his exact setup except for ported heads in an auto car. Dyno'd at almost 430 rwhp. I can sell him the file(EFILIVE) for $1,000,000 dollars if he really wants it.:D

The VE table was OK and prety smooth, its the timing table from my car and the slight MAF tweaks to bring the trims back in check and the 6% PE tweak to get the WOT AFR back in line.

Mine made about 400 rwhp 2 years ago with a similar cam to his... so im not sure how much can be left on the table... the auto LS1 cars just dont seem mph that well unless they 60 foot like a MOFO or make tons of power.

The engine went 11.90@114 on E.T. streets in the camaro I took it out of.

yeah Tom thanks for that tune i think after the stall tho that i need a new one. it seems to die every now and then in reverse.....usually if i dont let it idle for a couple min's... doesn't really matter hot or cold engine either. that and it smells like its running a bit rich again i dont know wtf is up with it. ive still got this MTI tb that im trying to figure out how to get it to open ALL the way but its running this way with the stock one. IDK..

Yeah if you have the stock TB back on, thats why its running the way it is... those ported TB's throw alot of things off, so u really cant switch back w/o consequence.

Shoot me a message and let me know when you would want me to take a look at it again.

the stock TB was on the first time you tuned it. i switched them and noticed that when i put the pedal to the floor the mti doesn't open all the way so i put the stocker back on.

man... i need my bolt on car back.

ls1 intake, stock cam, just headers/converter/exhaust/lid and it went 12.3

tossed in the 4400 stall instead of the 3200, and lightened it up and it went 11.7 @ 115mph :)

God I love those 1.5 60ft's :)

But seriously... your car is running pretty damn good. In cases of running street tires, i just try and look at mph and you can "kinda" compare to others. My 12.3 run was at 110mph. The general theory is for every .1 in the 60 ft, it's about .15 in the 1/4. So dropping into a 1.8 should put you into a 12.2 area. But again, it's all in theory, but I have seen it on my timeslips.

Lucky bastards all running your cars right now, haha

when you put the pedal down, it doesn't open on the way? is the blade not opening but that "stop" is being hit? that "stop" that is part of the casting of the throttle body. or is it something like the cable is bad?

Chris

the blade does not open and it is about 1/4 inch from the bump stop.

oh and i wish i could pull off some 1.8 60' ers. al mine been 2.0 or slower it just starts to spin if i lay into it to early but then again i have yet to try it with slicks as i dont have any.

hmmm on the TB thing. can it open all the way if you take the cable off? or like if you manually flipped it open? trying to decipher if it's something with the throttle cable or something with the TB itself. I know it's something small, but have you looked at what's underneath the pedal? I know i've done some **** and there ends up being carpet or a screwdriver from previously working on the car, back under the carpet that is keeping the pedal from going to the floor

Chris

There is a way to adjust the cable too we can try, there is this slack adjuster in the cable. you pull up the clip, floor it and it self adjusts, done.

That maybe all that needs to be done.

you can manually flip all the way open YES. its only when its on the car. and ive checked under the pedal..at first i thought it was the floor mat.

ive messed with the slack adjuster but never put the pedal to the floor with the clip off......i might have to try it. wich adjuster is it i know that thier is 2 one in the back almost by the firewall and one in the other cabe comeing from the T/C modual going to the TB.
