New project

Whats up everyone, aint been on the site for a while. Figured Id show yall the project car I bought so I dont lose my mind while being stationed in Fort Riley Kansas. Its a 71 duster, slant 6, 904 trans, 8 3/4 rear. Original color was gold. Body is solid, interior sucks, and needs all new brakes but its a good car to start with. All numbers match with the exception of the rear end.

Cool car - what are your plans for it? With companies like Schumaker making mounts and stuff its alllll too easy to stuff a 440 in there! If need any help or advice, or want to shoot the **** about Mopars send me a PM.

thanks, plans for right now include new brakes, bushings and front disc conversion. I wanna get the trani re-done and then maybe was thinkin of an 04 n up hemi? not sure if they have stand alone computer tho? otherwise a badass 340, 360, 440 would be cool too

body work, paint, putting it back togeather, and i actually wanted to drive it... i bought it in the fall and didnt have a chance to drive it before winter..

3.73's, headers, h-pipe, flowmaster catback, msd ignition+ blaster coil, edelbrock intake manifold, Mr Gasket thermostat, K&N filter, ford racing wires, pro 5.0 short shifter and weld in subframe connectors. it needs heads and a cam.. but dont have $ for that right now..

i put the shifter in, my buddies still gotta weld the subframes in, i did the thermostat and the tune up, and put the h pipe in. but yea it came with alot of stuff done when i bought it.. it was only $2500 and the tranny and clutch are new also so i think i did pretty good...
