Anybody know of anylocal places to get it? Or supplier just informed us that our unleaded isn't so unleaded. Which is probably why the o2 sensors on the HRSS stopped working...:rolf

There is a undisclosed location in slinger that will sell you just about any type of race fuel imaginable. And at the same place 100 octane unleaded is sold...

There is no 110 unleaded that I am aware of. There is 100 octane unleaded, and 110 leaded in Slinger. I know how to get there, but can't tell you directions...

I guess im scratching my head as to why these cars need race gas anyway.... They are not 14:1 CR and do have efficent combustion chambers. The LSx's under good conditions will rarely have KR on 93 unless the timing is stupid or they are sucking major amounts of oil in through the PCV.

Eh not my concern anyway.

yea I don't really see the benefit of running race gas in an LSX either I guess...

OH....I get it now. Guys with LSX's run 135 octane instead of oil?

JohnnyT

LSx's don't need oil... Remember???

the c5-r ls1 engine in the hrss runs 12.5:1 compression. at 600 NA HP it's better to run higher than 93 octane, agreed?

Nope, probably could get away with decent amount of timing on 93 at 12.5:1

However it is a proven fact that larger bore engines do run a better chance of knocking, but this engine can make as much hp at lower **'s compared to a smaller ci at high **'s

May as well keep a stock pile of pre cat sensors handy, as 100 unleaded is not to common to come by as leaded 110. I would be super pissed off if i bought one of those cars and could only run it on 110. No reason 93 cant be the main fuel used, at least most owners can get it at the local gas station.

WTF difference does it make why they want to run it?

Did he ask for anything but where he could find it?
