good lord, why don't you just mock up a calendar on excel and write in it "bored day" there is an events section, and on the front page no less it tells you if there's anything going on. people are at oscars nearly every night.

Its the Culvers on Howell and Drexel in Oak Creek... I think todays freebie is a Waffle cone Ice cream....

We might hit Oscars tonight, did so last week but I ended fouling a right o2 sensor on the freeway. Had to limp the car home like a wiener dog with no legs :(

Lucky John let you in eh Ryan? I would have kicked you out if I didnt know who you were LOL.
Yes its was a good night, but some of the Soild Gold crowd were complaining about our Newer cars. But it was resolved. The other half of the parking lot will be open next week since we had 25+ cars there.

BTW Ryan it was good to meet you ;)

jeez more old skoolers whining?!?!?! they really need to get a life, isnt the point of a cruise/show to enjoy the cars? what difference does it make what year it is as long as its got balls and looks good.

Thats what I said, but we resolved it with Culvers and we explained to them how Soild Gold McDonalds is and they dont want that... So I believe there is going to be a section for the newer cars.

I sometimes DJ the shows but were (Myself, ZDDOT, HeatSeeker) mainly by the DJ both with our cars also. If we see you or you come to us and ask we might let you in, but you'd have to follow our instruction in where to park.

Josh got there before me, and he got a hard time about having a newer car and asked him to park on the other (common) side of the lot. I got the same business when I pulled in. We advised them as they were trying to deny us into the show its not in thier best interest to start segrating the newer from older cars as that was the downfall of McDonalds' popularity and caused other shows to start up like Pistol Petes & etc. They then quickly let us park in the show- just slightly off to the side, but great parking nonetheless. We expect no problems from here on out as we explained later to them that a show like this should be enjoyed by all and to expect a diverse crowd of cars to show up as older cars ARE NOT the only ones who enjoy showing thier rides.

The parking spots that we got were the best through out the whole lot!!! I think were gonna park there from now on.
Need to bring lawn chairs though next time.

We'll be out at Culvers next Thursday, then after the show we make our way to Oscars.

Cmon meow... people were just as interested in my car, even if their first reaction was "Why in the hell is there a Jetta parked here" :rolf :rolf

It IS nice to have a show with all model years.

looks like solid gold has some REAL competition this year with the Culvers show in Oak Creek. If they are open to allow all years in and they continue to have a good turnout, word will spread fast that this is worth attending.

Next week they are going to have ramps set up for those that want to park on thier grass and increased lot spaces allotted if need be. And by next spring a bank will be built next to it and Culvers already has thier adjoining lot good to go. This one really has potential.

Josh & myself and a few others had that talk with one of thier managers last night and as long as it stays mature out there, pretty much anything can show.

Hey if you come we'll let you in ;)... Were talking about the total rice mobiles that high school kids own, that won't be allowed. (You know the type). But like John said, as long as its mature out all years are open.

I'm fine with Imports, I just hate the RICE thats all... BTW I had a CRX Si ;)
