well almost 2 months ago my I blew my motor on my only car. well after a lot of saving up ( did upgrades :) ) an waiting,, and install complications, shes FINALLY DONE an its running ok on my old base tune

that means

NO oil leaks
NO coolant leaks ( there was a slight one on my coolant elbow, but all fixed
NO fuel leaks
and my BIGGEST concern...NO vacuum leaks :)

now the bad

I have a loud ticking from the front crossover to the front header...easy fix. I hope since its a new exhaust donut
and misfires from a stop... another easy fix. I just need to lean out my bottom end


ok im done rambling in excitment now.

GLD here I come :)

fwiw; I think my trans is going to go sometime this year tho. time to save up 3k :(

ok let me rephrase "blew up"

long story short, HG, front or rear cover went, I never inspected the old motor to actually know.

I COULD have used the old motor, but I didnt want to take my chances wince I was running milky oil ( oil/coolant mix) for a good couple thousand miles :durr

ALSO I replaced it since it had 130k of beaten miles on it. so I found a junk yard with a motor for fairly cheap, also wanted to hank the motor to put in some goodies ;)

yes pretty hard to "blow up" but not hard to fook up. gaskets going, otherwise running so much KR it detonates to hell

Iac's are going out of whack!!!!

one sec they are 36 ( perfect ) then they shoot up to 45-50, then it falls right away, then it falls flat on its face an wants to die.....

so my question is to you...is that a vac leak or my tune?
