Well I finally took my car out of the garage for a ride tonight. Felt pretty weird to be behind the wheel of it again since the last time was back in 2004! Didn't really hammer on it at all since I didn't wanna break it the first time out, but the itch was definitaly there!!! The best part was watching some guy filling up next to me in his Caddy jump when I fired it! :rolf He looked like he needed some new shorts. But yeah, $30 for a half a tank of 93 sucks nuts! Hopefully tomorrow I can get it cleaned up all purty and get some more miles on it. I forgot how nice it was to just drive around listening to the motor and exhaust!!! :headbang

Sounds like me and I'll be doing just that in a week from tomorrow, except mine will be trailered home and fixed. Then I'll be able to take it out and remove the remaining tread from both the rear tires........

It almost feels like I'm getting a new car it's been so long.......!

Well I did a heads, cam, and intake swap on it, but it was the fact the I had my cutout open, so it was pretty much open headers.

Well it was on fumes when I left the garage. So at $3.19 a gallon, I got just above half a tank. Normally I only run 87 but I figured I'd spurlge for the first run in 2 years. :goof

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if it was slower until I burn the new PROM.

All I see is a pic of an LS1. You could have gotten that anywhere on the net. I want to see a pic of you in a GQ pose next to the CAR with the hood open so we can see the almighty LS1 inside... :)

with a newspaper in the photo to prove you took it today. And I want to see an apple and an alligator named Marcus. No alligator, no dice.

I think Marcus was killed in Florida after he ate a female jogger down there...

how about a shot of a pigeos playing the violin while walking on a treadmill eating a graham cracker? That is NOT too much to ask Tyler!

Ehh LS1 over rated swap IMO
Spend less building any other engine cheaper and have more power than an LS1 swap just my 2 cents

Well I put the hammer down a couple times tonight and I learned one thing. Always tune your car!!! In first, she got up pretty good. Then at about 4k the tires would break loose. Next thing I know, I'm in second... I really need to burn a chip and she what she can do!!!
