This was for sale last year, then it wasn't, now it just popped back up today.
The sign just says "99 LS1, must sell, make offer", I got the phone number, if anybody wants it. Maybe will be reasonable, it has some minor cosmetic issues. I thought somebody here might be interested...

Its on Guthrie Rd, just before it ends at Racine Ave.
I'm going to call him tomorrow and see how much and get some details, I'm not interested, but I'll get some info to pass along...

Heres another pic I took of it...

Well, I just talked to the guy, it has a "rebuilt" :durr title, he claims it was parked next to a building that burned down, so thats why it has a rebuilt/salvage title  . It has a pretty noticeable dent in the drivers rear quarter, some noticeable scrapes on the nose, not bad, still looks good.
It's a 6 speed, new Vette clutch, 3 inch exhaust (no cats), someone started to put a cold air kit on it(?), motor is stock, 90-some thousand miles, he has a stock hood for it, it has new rear tires, t-tops, leather interior, he said aftermarket shifter (looked stock to me), etc, etc...
He'll take $9500 for it :stare He told me he bought it a year ago, from a bank for $9000, and he has stuck a grand into it with the tires & clutch.

Uhhh we had a 50k mi one with t-tops about a month ago that we sold for 12,995 and we're a dealership... It was an automatic, but still...

I'd think that one is a little steep...

I can see this car going on e-bay...
Some dumb kid will buy it, then IF I see him I'll laugh in his face and say you got burned on this car.

No, he didn't mention if he smoked crack or not, but he did sound a bit like a douche-bag, he gave me the "I just bought a brand new Harley, plus now its boat season, I just need to get rid of some toys", oh, you poor bastard, I feel your pain :punch: NOT
I also thought quietly to myself that if it was in the $5K range I'd buy it, just to have something to beat the snot out of, but $9500 :confused :wow

Does it have hood pins? I don't see any in the picture. If it does I've met the guy who owns it and it has a number of bolt on's and the owner drives it very hard. That's if it's the car I'm thinking of in which case it would need hood pins.

No hood pins, this guy does beat the car, I saw him sideways on Sunset a while ago, with a way hot blonde in the car...
