MY NEW TRUCK GOTTA LOVE IT
I just purchased a brand new pickup truck, and as luck would have it
the stinkin' radio wouldn't work! So, I returned to the dealer the next
day, and complained to the manager.
The manager immediately went and got my salesperson and
reprimanded him on the spot for not instructing me how to operate this
radio. The red faced salesperson then explained that the radio was voice activated.
"Watch this!" He said, "Nelson!"
The radio replied, "Ricky or Willie?"
"Willie!" he continued......and "On The Road Again" came from the
speakers.
I drove away from that dealership just happy as a lark.
For the next few days, every time I'd say "Beethoven!",
I'd get beautiful classical music, and if I said "Beatles!",
I'd get one of their awesome songs.
One day, a couple ran a red light and nearly creamed my new truck,
but I managed to swerve in time to avoid them.
Impulsively I yelled at them, "A$$HOLES!"
Immediately the French National Anthem began playing on my
new radio - it was being sung by Jane Fonda and in the background
doing backup, a chorus of illegal Mexican immigrants.
Damn, I love this truck!
