i have one complete engine out of a 89 firebird formula that is complete minus the wire harness and the accesories, it has brand new injectors on it and also has a new starter, one of the cylinder heads is blown so thats out, i also have a chevy longblock that is post '86 which has everything from the pan to the valve covers, no intake manifold or dist, or accesories, both engines are 350's. pm me with what you need and i will tell you on availability and then you can shoot me a price

both engines are 350's.

The 89 should have a factory roller setup and the 86 probably has a stock flat tappet cam... both being hydraulics.

The 89 probably has 083 castings and the other likely has smogger heads on it.

would you take $100 for the better 350?? I should be able to swap everything from my tuned port 305 in my TA to it and drop it right in and have it run??? that might be a interesting possibility, as this 305 is junk.

It will pop in but look for a set of injectors for a 5.7 which are 22lb/hr
compared to the 19lb/hr ones you have stock!
Don't get me wrong though the 19's will work but not how it should!
Or get bigger ones like i did:thumbsup

that might be a good idea.

but **** now I find out my old pace car is for sale. only 8k for it. I sold it for 10k, and it basically has sat since last sept.

**** I need to get rid of this TA quick and work tons of overtime.

I still need a complete engine to swap to my TA, or at least something that I can swap some parts off my TA onto this one. apparently there is some dreaded lower end noise, and yes the oil level is fine.

either way.......... SBCs are cheap to fix up and I need something cheap.

I'll take one of your L98 motor from the formy. assuming I can toss a headgasket at it and throw it in my TA, I need to make this a easy weekend swap so I have a car for work next week.
