I was at the track since my itch for drag racing is back and the Regal isn't finished yet so I decided to take the Evo for a few runs. Now this is the 2nd time this car has ever been on the drag strip so Im still getting the launching down.

Since this run I dialed in my lauch control which creates 15psi prior to launch, very fun.

full intake and exhaust
264/272 cams
ported TME turbo with 10.5 hotside
alky injection
utec

and a few other things.

The turbo is getting traded out for a BR/FP 3065 next week, along with a 2.1 de-stroked 2.4L in the next few weeks. That should put me in the high 10's with shitty driving

Well last night at the track I could only get off a 12.25 then the tranny and t-case decided it dint want to work anymore, so I have 1 and 2nd gear syncros in the bottom of my tranny right now. YAY.

I usually trap in the neighborhood of 113-115, depending on how good the lauch was. My 1-2 shift kills me, the car is good for 11's at that speed.

Good news though. My tranny and t0case are at shepard racing in OH getting a full rebuild. The tranny is getting all new guts and pretty much everything is gittig cryo treated and re-shimmed. The t-case is getting a front LSD put in by Ralliart and just like the tranny everything is getting cryo treated.

The cost of building and shipping is just over 3k

SMC. It fits in the FMIC sprayer tank. I start to spary at 16psi and full at 25psi. My max boost is 27psi as of right now. If you are still at DJ I can stop down and show you sometime.


Yes the tranny and t-case are finally back and broke in. With the new clutch it's abear to launch, the clutch grabs so hard and so fast. I also have the 3065 in the car now, maybe Junk can say something although I don't think I took him for a ride yet. This turbo is only staying in for the rest of the year and part of next year. My new motor is done and I am finishing up the manifold for the bigger turbo as we speak.

Im heading to the track tomorrow to see if I can clip off at least an 11.50 until the cage gets done being fabbed up.
