Culver's on Howell and Drexel in Oak Creek is starting their Carshows for every Thursday starting on May 18th. I think it starts at 5- 5:30pm.

It says its for Classic cars but I've brought my car there.

Car owners get a free ice cream and there will be a DJ there also

Jess and I plan on attending as much as we can.

There was a decent turn out for how cool the weather was, alot more than last year btw...
Now all they need to do is block the other half of the parking lot off. Dont know why they didnt do it to begin with.

What pizzed me off is that the other half of the parking lot was supposed to be closed to customers and open to show cars. I heard that they want a big carshow like Culver's on HWY and Forrest Home but they dont block the other half off...
Cars were driving by and leaving cause of the small space that was allowed, I wouldn't park my car on the side of the driveway either.

I came in and drove through the parking lot. When I realized there was no where to park I decided there was no point and left.

Plus I probably got there after you guys left(around 6:30) so there wasn't even anyone I knew there which is why I left.

I agree they need a lot more parking for it.

The one on Forrest Home, is this the one just west of I94 right off HWY 100? I've been by it before and it looks to have a larger parking lot.

Can't next Thursday, will be in Brookfield training manager's for the new Brookfield South Panera. It goes from 8:30am until 9:00pm.

This show is not going to be like Soild Gold in no way what so ever (Culver's Managment Agrees Also). Its going to be a tasteful show. :cough no retarded rice cough:

I'm not running it or anything- just hanging out at the DJ booth sucking down my sodas with friends. I've only been there twice now but ended up directing a few cars around last week. Josh- how exactly did we get 'lot control'? Not complaining or anything, just think its kind of funny.

Rifleman- don't sweat it- mine is faaaar from show ready and I park it wherever and get next to no flak.

I dont know, it just fell into our lap... I guess its because we've been advertising it everywhere and they gave us the the responsiblity of directing the newer cars into the lot, in which I have no problem with...

We'll try to make it to every show possible, but when the baby is born 99% of the time we won't be there. So we're soaking this up right now.

Not at all, and calling me won't really do much for anyone no matter what the car. Directing traffic is one thing but running the show and dictating who shows/does what is another. This show- like Pistol Petes & the Tues Culvers lets newer cars in too. I wont be there until about 7.

The Trike drag racing was awsome till I broke at the finish line which I still won by coasting which ended the whole drag racing event. (Track temp 91*degrees, couldn't hook for nothing, need wet box)

John on the other hand, well lets just say nothing about that LOL! :cough circles cough: torque steer cough:

Last weeks car show was awesome, lots of excitement and new faces :) hope to keep it going with the newer cars, if you like cars you should like all years not just the early 20's through 60's so hopefully the older crowd will stop with the complaints and just sit back and enjoy the crowd of cars and people attending. This week if you show your car you get a free Turtle sundae I believe :thumbsup well worth stopping by!
