What type of fuel does your daily driver get? I’m curious to see what everyone uses. Anyone use Midgrade on a regular basis and why?

I was using regular in the minivan but read I could get slightly better mpg with midgrade so thats what its been getting and I have noticed better mpg and smoother throttle response.

The Buick is the daily, gets regular as thats all it needs, not exactly a high compression motor.

BP 87 octane for the honda. Seems to always get a touch over 40 mpg now that its warm.

I will make an intresting note. Only with BP and Mobil gas will it get this high of mpg.

It drops right to 37-38 if any other brand is used.... must be additive package that makes the diff idk...

LOL, I hate all minivans to begin with but I must say the inventor of the stow and go should get a nobel peace prize:rolf as that is the only thing that makes driving a minivan tolerable for me.:goof

I did want to try the E85 but it isnt recommended for the 3.8l. Sadly my Geo Tracker gets better mpg than all of my cars and I run 87 in that.

The Screw, Wagon and Grand Prix all get 87, when the wagon gets the new motor it'll get 93 because of the higher comp.
They get 14,18, and 24 respectively.

87 in the ZR2. But I change it sometimes to put 93 with the Hypertech.
93 goes in the Silverado since I put the new motor in.

STi gets 93 only (or higher). Tuned for 93, so running anything less is a no no. Generally it is Citgo gas from the station closest to me on Nicholson and College. Had a problem with BP gas, so I will NEVER use them again (tons of sedement clogged my fuel filter).

Forester gets premium what ever grade it is (usually SA).

300C gets midgrade (again usually SA).
