i recorded the e3 live coverage on g4tv and the official news is that playstation 3 will be out nov. 17th at two prices....499 for 20 gig hd or 599 for the 60 gig version.

start saving ur pennys now :wooo

meh... people were paying up to $2,000 for xbox360 when it first came out, $4-599 aint shiat.

thats only a hundred and 200 more then the 360, for most people that i talked to back when people thought it was going to be around 700 they where still going to get it.

oh yeah the controller isnt the boomerrang like before its pretty much the same controller as before except with motion detection.

This can't be good...

The $499 model will lack support for Memory Sticks, SD and Compact Flash cards, no built-in Wi-Fi and will surprisingly have the HDMI output removed (necessary for achieving the much bragged about 1080p screen resolution).

I would just wait till the price drops, most of the games that come out during a release are not all that great any ways plus there would not be any variety for months.

its not that bad if u think about it being only 200 more then the 360.
