your in school?

i like the sunset shot but the only thing i would change is the horizon should be horizontal. u might be able to fix it in photoshop.

Thanks Dave I will Change that. I didnt pay much attention to it yesterday because I just wanted to get the photo's done with seeing it was getting late. The photo's were taken for my Power point presentation on Digital camera Technology. Nothing to exciting about the project Just goes over the real basic stuff for people in class.

scott, the bridge photo has nice colors but the composition is weak. Try and find angles and stuff that you normally wouldn't see just passing by. Get closer, lower etc....experiment. If you took anything less than 10 shots of that bridge from different angles etc you missed the boat. Its a great bridge so try to show that. Also watch the foreground...the mulch and grass is somewhat distracting...if you cropped it or got closer to show JUST the water and the bridge I think it would look a lot better

Thank you for the honest critique. :thumbsup I will remember that for next time. What do you think of the colors do they look good to you? I might still be having problems with the color settings on my pc at home.

What do you think of pic 1 and 2?

pic 1 would be better if it was closer up. There is a lot of grass. There is also a shadow cast on the goose's head that leads me to believe you shot somewhat into the sun (the sun was kinda in front of you and to the right). Try to avoid shooting towards the sun...harsh shadows suck

pic 2would be better if the horizon was level and if you did a levels adjustment to make the trees and buildings completely black in photoshop so they are a silhouette.
