Yep, my brother's getting the chance to drive on the track w/ other members from WICGP. But I think anyone can drive on it if they want, but I'm not completley sure of that.

Yea, I think I heard that on the radio, or the news last night. You have to pay a small fee, but you can drive your car on the track.

On Sunday May 7, race fans who grew up watching their driving heroes from the grandstands at The Milwaukee Mile will get their once-a-year chance to take laps on America’s Legendary Oval!

Add your name to Bobby & Davey Allison to Mario Andretti, from Dale Earnhardt, Dale Earhnardt, Jr., A.J. Foyt, Matt Kenseth and Ted Musgrave.
A virtual “who’s who” of auto racing superstars have taken laps…and now it’s YOUR TURN
to drive on the historic Milwaukee Mile!

WHAT: Drive around The Milwaukee Mile in your own street car!

WHEN: Sunday, May 7, 10:00am – 2:00pm
ADMISSION: $15 for drivers, passengers ride for free, PLUS two non-perishable food items for the Hunger Task Force

LAP COUNT: 3 laps for each admission

CHECK-IN: At the Milwaukee Mile Ticket Office, 7722 W Greenfield Ave

OTHER STUFF ONCE YOU’VE COMPLETED YOUR LAPS: Victory Lane will be open to pose for photos, $1 Krispy Kreme & coffee combo, $$ to Hunger Task Force, food and refreshments available for purchase, Car Show, Swap Meet, Car Corral, Music

CAR CLUBS: You are encouraged to sign up early to take laps together.
Awards, first 400 cars receive dash plaques, and more!

SMALL PRINT: Must be 18 years of age and older to drive
Must present a valid Wisconsin drivers license

Thank you for taking all the nice pictures of my trans-am. I was wondering why no other trans-ams or camaros showed up? I also held back on the track and then floored it down the straights to have some fun. Thanks again for posting the pictures. Rick

I was there in the blue 68 La Mans, it is my Unlces new toy. There is a photo of it in that above gallery. The driving around the track looked pretty gay if you ask me, didn't look like they were allowing anyone to go faster then 40-50
