Be careful with the cheap ones. I have a set and once you get a car on them, you can't move it. It worth it to spend the extra for a set with roller bearings to make them usable.

Very true, mine are cast, but if you lube them when you get them you can roll it, but not with ease. It is 3800+ pounds though.

Ha, yea you end up with flat spots in the wheels on the cheap ones. See if you can find some with steel wheels that have ball bearings. Might not be the cheapest set up but you want to be able to use them more than once.

Just think, if your car gets stuck you will be wishing you spent $300 on wheel dollies.

I bought a great set of 4 at one of the yearly Vette shows that I go to. I can get more info on the MFG and a phone number when I get home. If you to buy 1 good set for life these are the ones. I bought the standard width but they make 2 other models that are even wider for street rods. I tested mine out by throwing my 3/4 Ton extended cab truck on top of then and then spining it 360 in my garage over the floor drain and relief cuts in the floor, smooth. The tires can not roll out of the trays. A friend of mine bought the cheap ones and several times the car slipped off when he moved the cars. I think I paid around $250 - $300.
You get what you pay for!!!!!!

I have a set of these - when i lowered my 3800 + pound 3000gt onto them - it started rolling on it's own across the garage floor... I have the 1016 with upgrade...

The first set I owned was a junk set from Farm and Fleet - I think they were $89 - they were useless - I gave them away...
