Got a guy here at work that is looking to sell his 80 Cutlass. It is REALLY clean. Was just repainted a couple years ago. He did hit a pole with the very rear back 1/4 panel and he fixed it and repainted it, still has to blend into the doors/trunk area. But overall, the exterior is REALLY clean. Has the stock trans/engine (260 V8?) and some old school Cragar 5-stars.

Car like I said looks REALLY clean. Interior is fairly clean.

What is something like this worth? Anyone interested? He's up in the air about selling it.

Not an Olds expert but I'd think in the 5k range. Very nice!

So what you think, $3500 put an ad up, think it'd sell fast? Think it'd sell for that at Jefferson?

And just to be specific, it's not an "original" 442 or anything, he just has the badges on it and did the whole repainting

Ahh..so its just a Cutlass, not a W-30 or anything special option wise? Whats the original mileage? Original drivetrain, etc? I'd say 3,500 is pretty fair then abouts...not sure it would sell super quick or anything.

that's the thing he's trying to decide about. mileage I'm not sure, but i'll check, but it is the original drivetrain.

I do appreciate the help

I would say a really clean 80 definitely would be worth $3500. They don't seem as popular as 81-87's but it's harder to find a 78-80 in good shape since the frames rotted out behind the axle on most of them 10-15 years ago.
I don't think he'd have any problem selling it for that at Jefferson.
Especially since Olds is the featured make this time :D

Nice looking car BTW :thumbsup
