I don't think they're gonna screw up the challenger, they said what was shown, is close to production. I think they took enough heat for the charger being a 4 door, they wont' do that again. besides, they need a 2 door thats one step below a viper to compete with a mustang and such. hell, I think they said even the base 6cyl is like 300 hp... :devil

I went from hating the Charger, to actually really liking it. For someone like myself it's perfect and the other mfg's don't have anything comperable.

It's big enough to hold 4-5 passengers
It's got a huge trunk with fold down seats for storage
It's got good power
It's pretty fun to drive
It's got an aggressive look.

GM and Ford have nothing that has all that. As for the name it could be worse they could have been putting it on a small hatchback with a 4cyl like they did in the 80's.

I'd never buy one with all the stickers and crap on it.

I dissagree with most of you.

I like the Charger because I can visualize how air flows around the hood. It doesn't have a hood which curves down at the end which has been popular for the past 15 years (cavaliers are major offenders).

4 doors are good. You only need 2 doors if you lack a back seat. I have been getting pissed at my integra for some time now because I hate having to fold the front seat forward to get something out of it. 4 doors means versatility.

The only real advantage to 2 doors that I can think of is that the frame will be more rigid. Bigger 2 door cars like Monte Carlos seem pointless because getting into the back seat sucks. Being a bigger car, you are tempted to put bigger people back there. I remember watching a 250 lb er try to get into one...it sucked!!!

Wagons-
You get the SUV interior with sedan mileage. Fits 50 2x4s, furniture, big tv, that big block you have been working on. One other thing: would you rather be seen in
a: charger wagon
b: minivan
c: full size van
d: hatchback with open hatch to fit all yer' stuff in
