This has already been confirmed for the chassis cab 3500 Ram. No final word for the 2500/3500 trucks though.

As of January 1st, 2007, Cummins will only make the 6.7L. The 5.9L will be no more.

If the 6.7L is introduced, it will be as a 2007.5 model. The downside... it will have all of the new EPA garbage on it

New Powerwagon is my favorite truck.
Easily.
Folks gripe about no Cummins in it, but I like the lighter V8.
With the front and rear locked, that Cummins would spit drivetrain parts all over when bound up offroad.

Peterson's 4WOR had an article about a soon-come twin-turbo Duramax with an Allison prepped to handle 400+ hp.

I think Ford is working on a 6.4L twin-turbo at 30+ psi that will make 400-500 hp in coming years.

A V8 diesel is as useful as a screen door on a submarine, IMHO.
The proper architecture for a diesel is a straight 6.
Can't argue with physics.

Cummins > everything else.

My $.02

found out the 6.7 is going to be backed by a new asian trans suppose to be very strong!

the 48REs were the weak link
