yeah, brad's car should 60ft better than it is doing. hell those rims/tires are mine and I've been mid 1.4's on them off a footbrake with a less overall first gear ratio

if he can do what it's capable on launch, 10's will be easy.

scottie K

i told him to set air pressure to about 14 to start and work it down but dont go below 10-11 psi

cris you of seen the imp LOL another 1/8 inch the left front would of came off LOL 1.89 60fts cords and all were hangn out the tires i drove it there and drove it home and 4 passes

Crawlin
04-16-2006, 01:05 PM
was it spinning at all on launch? or did it bog?

Crawlin
04-16-2006, 01:06 PM
hhaha, see i've always run those tires at 17-18psi and that's where they seem to work best. maybe too little pressure an resistance.

i wanted to see the Imp scotty. I was pissed sitting at work. was trying to find a live feed from MMA.com

Everyone can feel free to post videos. It was bogging hard off the line. On the street I can get the tires to spin which puts me in boost right a way. At the track. I wasn't seeing full boost until the 1/8 mile. I thing spinning the tires at the line might actually benifit me. I am up for suggestions.

Not seeing full boost until the 1/8 is normal for an centrifugal blower.

Leaving off idle with slicks on your car should rock! Maybe more timing off the line?

More air pressure in the rear tires. Like I said, try 17-18 and go from there.
