My sister and I are outside drinkin' a cold one watching the lightstorm in Brookfield. Waiting for the fun stuff to arive. Looks like one cell went to our north and now another is coming right at us! :thumbsup My whole family is like this, if there is really crapy weather, we're all outside watching it come in with smiles on our faces. I mean seriously, it's neat!

The ones downtown are golf-ball sized.

It scared the crap out of my dog. Then again, he is afraid of everything.

Just think about the winds whipping around up there to keep those 'rocks' up in the sky to build them up to that size! That's some serious ****! I love it :goof

I got caught in a hail storm last year while hiking in northern Kettle Moraine with my dog and my friend Julie. It was coming down in like a 45 degree angle- the hail started small marble sized- which just stung, but when it got as big as above it just freaking HURT. I had welts and blood blisters on my back and a nice bump on my head- had it gotten ANY bigger I think I would have gotten knocked the hell out. Ended up just putting the backpacks over our heads, I grabbed my poor dog and hovered over him and held him while my arms were getting nailed and we huddled by a tree- there was NOWHERE to go. The whole time I was thinking "the heaviest hail sometimes precedes a tornado" and also realized that there really WAS a tornado siren I thought I heard faintly. When it finally let up there was seriously 3 inches or more of hail on the ground, looked like it had just snowed- got a hell of an adrenaline rush though!

First and last time I'd like to be outside in a hail storm :).

We had a buch of hail by my house. I had the TA in the garage, but the buick got a bunch of hits. One big one on the roof and a bunch of smaller ones on the sides. Looks like I will have to keep the dog in the house so it won't get killed when I get one. Should be soon keep your fingers crossed.

My Subaru got it pretty bad while I was on my way to work. I made it to a gas station just north of Appleton and Lannon in G-town, but it was too late by then. The sound of it hitting the car was nasty. That was some big sh**.
