89 Ford injectors

hey i just got 89 ford f150 with a 5.0 in it. needs injectors, i wanna run 19lb injectors, guy at auto store told me i needed to up my spark with an msd blaster coil n ignition box and all that so i dont foul out the spark plugs. Is this true? I wanna hot rod the hell outta this thing let me kno

If you want to modify your truck, start with intake and exhaust (not to sound like a ricer here). Theres plenty of things more beneficial to due before getting new injectors.
