Hey guys, ok heres my deal. I sold all my cars, all I have is the Celica, and I need another camaro. I'm looking for an LS1, so if anybody knows of any let me know...I want a t top car, 6 speed, etc. What am I probably gonna pay for a Z28? Anything in particular I should look for? Are they a ***** to work on? I'm used to thirdgens so yeah...let me know. Most likely I'm lookin for something kinda like Chris's Z, higher mileage but in good shape. HELP!!! Trans ams are also ok.

classifieds, that's where I got mine. A number of them around the $8000 mark with some higher mileage on it. Depends HOW high mileage. Mine was 110k, with the Boyd's and the TNT nitrous kit, etc... Which i sold off to offset the price.

alot of times banks look for the miles as a factor. I'd look into something around 80k miles or less. can be had if you look hard enough. if you were looking for the ultra low payments and planning on extending the term out as much as possible, then look to your bank to find out how long you can go on the vehicle. if you are looking 98-99 and they can only go out 3 years, maybe an '01 w/ 50k miles at $11,000 that can go 5 years would be a lesser payment. All depends on your specific situatioin obviously. Not tha I'm recommending you go out the WHOLE term of 5 years.

For the right car I'm thinkin 11-12k actually, because low mileage would be nice, and 4 years is what i'm looking at. Payments around 300 maybe? I'm pretty flexible.

I would do an A4 if the price was right...hey Chris what did you do to your auto and what did it run after? :devil

I had headers/exhaust/lid/small converter and it went 12.3.

when it was just the small converter/exhaust/lid it went 12.65
on a 100 shot it went 11.5x

when it was headers/TD's/lid/slicks/skinnies/weight reduction/big converter it went 11.7x

I wouldnt get a higher mileage one. I'd stay with under 40k.

i bought my 02 ws6 with 38,000 on it for $16,000. There are deals out there. I drove to Detroit to get mine. I was on the web non stop til I found the one that was calling my name.

I'm not saying the don't but how many ls1 drivers do you know that don't give em a beating? Now think of one with 100k on it.

Thats a really good deal considering its an M6.

The ONLY reason why I bought mine with that high mileage was because it was cheap and I knew i'd be replacing everything on it anyways

I couldn't pass up that deal. It was sitting at a dodge dealer and they were sick of everyone coming to drive it and no one buying it. So I made them an offer and I they waited about a half a day to call me back and accept it. They showed me the papers on the car. They lost money on the deal. I even contacted the previous owner and she said they gave her $20,000 on a trade. They wanted it gone. Right place right time I guess.
