Resizing/editing pics?

Ok whenever I resize a pic with photoimpression (program that came with my canon) it looks like crap. I mean look at the pic in my sig. It gets the mini jagged edge look to it.

Any recomendations or ideas??

I use Microsoft Image Resizer (http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe). You don't have to open an image editing program to resize. Resizing is just a right click away. Works awesome.

I used to have it, but with XP the key no longer enters itself...

I still have the program though :D
