Speed Inc. Open House this Sat April 8th

Is anybody heading down there this Sat? I plan to with a couple of friends. I hope to get some good footage this year. I went last year for the first time and it was fun. Lots of nice looking/sounding cars doing burnouts in the street. It takes a little over an hour to get there from Milwaukee. F-bodies, Vettes, Cobras, Lightnings, and others. Starts at 10am and goes till about 2pm.

Was a pretty good time. Of course I just get up to the building to watch a few burners (which there was many of), and the cops showed. Did get to see WilliamZ burn out, too bad it was the only one I got on vid. Lots of nice cars. Was upset that when the cops showed, practically everyone left. Guess I'll have to get there earlier next year. I suggest showing up at 10 next year if anyone goes. I got there a 11, which is apparently too late for all the fun!

I got there when Grim saw me. I wasn't going to do a burnout but everyone moved in with their cameras so I did a little one. In the middle of doing so Dave says "cop, cop!" I look up and see the cop coming at me with its lights on. I figure I am already doing it so I stay in it and then pull off into Speed Inc's lot. I ditched the car quick and went to the front. That was the last of the burnouts that I know of. I got some footage of the cars there but no burnouts :( Last year the cops came but left and we were able to play around again. This time the cops stayed around, so we went to lunch and GLD.

It was a bust compared to last year as far as the the cops go. Tons of people tho.They did pizza this year instead of cooking out. So who got the ticket for exhibition of power.

I'll see what I can do, its my friends camera and I really couldnt tell you how to load it on to here. I'm sure I can find a way though. You were the last one of the day though. There was a Green 93-97 Z28 behind you that kind of
started to do one, then saw the cop. He just started rollin along and the cop just parked in front of him. I never heard whether or not he got ticketed.
I got to see that cobra on some kids camera while we wree in-line to get back to the shop. I couldnt believe how loong he was going. I think just before him on there was a trans am/firebird that was doing the same, but left some nice piles of flaming rubber. I noticed the cobra left some nice divets in the asphalt. :D
