I'm pretty sure I saw him yesterday on hwy and greenfield while on lunch. Don't know of many other VR-4's with a roll cage.

You all act as if his car is like spotting a unicorn. Yes, his car does exist and is has been around for quite awhile. Yes it is constantly improving and always will be. Last but not least it will always be a car with Drool factor as long as he has it.

Yes he is a doctor so it will be seen around hospitals :goof

best sounding car i've heard coming over the top of the front straight at R.A. and popping on the shift as he goes under the flagging tower :)

We all like to look at nice cars. Yes we know his car exists, we havn't seen it in a while. Yes, it is improving thanks for letting us know though car god. The car would have drool factor even if he didn't own it. Last but not least, ease up a little and you won't look like a jack ass. Sorry for wanting to share car stories with people.

From that statment, I can only infer that you are attracted to him. Would you be attracted to him if he wasn't a doctor? :stare

13 years of practicing Internal Medicine in Wisconsin can allow you to get nice things. Maybe someday, Bart H, if you work hard you too can have a car people are happy to see from time to time.

This is kind of funny, Jack and I both having our cars in the "sightings" section at the same time in adjoining threads. If you guys would have driven past John Pecorelli's house (Franklin) on the 4th you would have seen not only Jack's car, but mine, Paul Marten's Porsche Turbo, Aaron Echart's TT Supra, Scott Chapko's Z/06, John's EVO, etc. It was quite the plethora of performance cars for perusal...:D

How is Aaron at driving Paul's former Supra? I spoke to him in April and he said he was having an 'unusual' time getting used to it

HITMAN

Eh, Aaron's just an OK driver. Jack went almost a full second faster in Aaron's 3000 than Aaron. I know that Paul and Aaron raced recently. Aaron missed a gear, Paul ran away, and then they got into traffic before Aaron could really get moving. Paul was almost disappointed that the Supra didn't blow his doors off... Go figure...

Speaking of Aaron and his driving, how about last Sunday when he hardly pulled on a turbo Civic. That car doesn't feel as fast as when Paul had it.

The true unicorn is XWING 1:stare

I think the original xwing is just a figment of our imagination. The days of Jack laying the smack down on St. Paul or Tower Rd to an unsuspecting muscle car with 400hp and slicks. Those were the days.

I think you all need to realize that I am not some dumb kid and have been around the scene for quite sometime. The reason Jacks car will always have drool factor is because he is always pushing forward with it and making it a better all around car so as long as he has it, it will always improve.

Bart

ps Rick I have had multiple cars that have been cars that people have gawked over and did things with my cars that people at thetime weren't doing so before you spout nonsense at least have a clue of who you are talking to.

Well Bart H, please tell me whom I am talking with? Apparently few other people have a clue whom you are, seeing as you have 19 posts, and already have negative rep points (none from me though). Besides, I think you need to get a clue about internet ball busting and joking around. I figured with the :goof emoticon you would have realized I was joking. Here is an idea, maybe change your SN to Grim Reaper 7.0. :durr Please enlighten us as to the multiple cars you have had which people have gawked over, and all the things you have done that were revolutionary, that is, seeing as you are not some dumb kid.

Look I am going to stop here, and start over.

I made a sarcastic joking comment to you Bart H, which you had taken as a serious comment. I am sorry that I may or may not have offended you in anyway. I really do not intend to come across as an ass, it might just be part of my nature to make jokes. People on this site usually can tell when I am joking around, as I usually use the goofy emoticon or someother one. So, that being said, take what I have written with a grain of salt.

To those who don't know me I have been screwing with import since about 1996.

Back then I had a Mitsu Gvr4 with GAB coilover suspension, 20x8x3 Spearco fmic, 16g, injectors, HKS EVC, and a bit of other stuff. The car was fast and ahead of the curve during that era.

I then moved to a 1995 Civic Si that I put full suspension springs struts sway bars etc. on it, Dropped a b16 in it and added a jackson racing supercharger.

2002 I bought a WRB WRX wagon and started small with it and decided I wanted a sedan so I gave the wagon to the wife. I found a 2002 WRB WRX sedan and built it up to be a fun street / autocross car. Full suspension, vf29, injectors, cobb ecu, HKS EVC, MRT replica WRC wing, among other things faster than an STI. Sold it due to child 3 on the way.

Had a 1986 Corolla GTS setup for autocross up till two days ago when I sold it to a guys in chicago, only 103whp but it was a fast car on course and very drifty.

Now I am in search of a STI 05+ to prepare for autocross in STU.

Bart

PS if you ever stopped by Midnight Tuning, I was the only guy that new what he was talking about and the only white guy that worked there.

Bart H
07-12-2006, 10:53 AM
Yes it was car #782 of 2000, I saw it for sale about a year ago on the gvr4 forums in ohio and Yes I am the culperit that pushed Jon to further modify his 2nd gen back in the day.
