Strange S60 (http://www.darklogic.net/s60painted/)

That is Strange Engineering's Dana60... :wow

Pictures DO NOT do it justice... It is MASSIVE!!! :wooo :devil

And, umm, yeah, it is quite a bit stronger than a 12-bolt or 8.8" rears, is at the level or above most builds of a Ford 9" and has all the bells and whistles... ;)

8.8 rear ends have been well into the 7's, 9" rear ends have been well into the 6's. So I can see your concern.

Is this what it is going into? :rolf

Not bad, but I'm opting for a quick change lighter and the beauty of changing gear ratios in less than 20 minutes =D w00t w00t

I guess I had to jump on the band wagon, I have a S60 on the way. Heard alot of good things about them also. Maybe I'll even test its strength at the track.

Tom,
I did get everything worked out and the car should be ready in about a month or so for some abuse. I owe you a ride after all of your help. How are things going with your car? I am sure I will see ya around when it warms up and maybe you can give me a hand with the suspension. I want a different tq arm, as well as some qa1's to get this thing to launch. Thanks again for all the help so far!

I wouldn't even say it's overkill, that's going on a 6 second 200mph car. I have never seen a rear end like that. That's just straight up sick.
