just curious if someone wanted to use one of their tows for me :) i would get AAA but i need the car towed either today or tomorrow so that wont work. the car only needs to be towed 5 miles. and i'll give ya some cash for helping me out :thumbsup

Ticket? What ticket? If I remember correctly the only place you can't tow with a strap is on major highways... I've never had a problem towing with a strap, and I've driven past police officers while towing with a strap... Maybe I'm just lucky...

pretty sure tow straps are illegal on public roads.... but I've done it many times with no problems. Take it slow and go when traffic is minimal. have a 3rd car to tail the one being towed is a real good idea too.
