I am going under the knife for my knee again tomorrow. This will be the second one for me. They said that there is a 60% chance that this one will help, but they want to try it before they do a more invasive surgery. This time it is a lateral release. I go in at 830 and I should be out by noon. I hope this one will at least allow me to walk with out a cane. Just wanted to thank everyone for their support so far. I will let you know how it goes.

Surgery went well, It took longer than expected because they found alot more scar tissue than they where expecting. Recovery went well, but when I got home my shoe was full of blood. I started bleeding out. I had blood pouring down my leg. So then I call the doctor back and he tells me to call 911. So then I call 911 and I get a nice ride to the hospital in an ambulance while they are holding pressure on my knee to keep it from bleading anymore which hurt like hell because my surgery was just finished two hours ago. So I get to the hosiptal and they put more stiches in to help controll the bleading and they give me some shots to make my blood clot. At this point I was so dizzy from loosing so much blood. I really didn't know what all happened next. Then I wake up and get to go home. It was quite the experience to say the least. Sorry if I am spelling bad, I am on alot of drugs right now. thanks for all the support again.

damn... if I looked down and saw a pool of blood in my shoe, it'd be pretty much " :wow oh shìtshìtshìt"

I suppose it's more scary flooring your car than seeing lots of blood though :goof

I just had arthoscopic done on my right knee on March 9th. It was cake compared to my back surgery a few years ago (age 23 I had two disks removed from my lower back and had a spinal fusion also 2 titanium rods some screws and four cages put in)with my knee I was back to work in a few weeks and it already feels better than it did before I went in. I had some junk removed and had a ligament repaired and part of my minscus reparied and part of it removed along with some scrapping of tissue. Though its nothing compared to what you are dealing with. I know in the future Its guarnteed that Iam going to have a knee replacement. Good luck to you partner. :thumbsup
