Unmarked Camaro

I've been seeing alot of the Milw. Sherrif's "new" unmarked black Camaro lately. It looks totally stock and has a regular WI license plate (447-ASW). Be on the lookout if your on the freeway alot; this thing's been busy.

i see it alot on 94 by college and south of there mostly they have a red one too

usually you can also tell because there is a cell phone looking antenna on the rear window.

Wind Lake has one or two also. The older one (LT1 style)had aftermarket wheels and tinted windows and was a maroon color. Until it had someone pulled over and the lights went on you'd never know. They have an LS1 style also, blueish purple if I remember right. Haven't seen them this year but they've been busy the last few years on Hwy36. Not sure if they still have the older maroon one or not, but it probably made enough money to buy the newer one :goof

The milw black issued LS1 was VERY busy today. I counted 4 stops this afternoon between Beloit rd and Hampton ave exits. That doesnt include the Tahoe and 3 other cruisers on the road on the exact same section of road.

I just seen this black camaro or another potential black camaro zip past me with its LED lights on 45 heading southbound today.(around 2pm). Also seen this same car with Mark on 94 westbound right before the 76-84th st exit on our way home from the OASIS concert(it rocked!)

Milwaukee Sheriffs have 3 Camaro Z28's a Black, A Red and A NBM (blue), of course they have tinted windows...
The Sheriff also have a White LT1 Conv. Trans Am, but they use that for parades.

I've seen the Camaro's hanging around the Milw/ Racine county line alot looking for Bears fans (since Illinois is looking for chessheads)... But it seems now that they moved up I-94 around Rawson and College Ave's.

I had a Black Sheriffs Camaro pace on I-94 two years ago, he was trying to get me to jump but I knew better.

The Wind Lake Camaro, it's a Black LS1 Camaro, he likes to sit in driveways on 36 at nights, you wont see im till your to late.

That black Z28 had someone on 894 EB near Loomis last night about 6pm.

Wonder if these aren't confiscated drug cars. I know back in the day the Milw Sherriff used to have some Vettes on display here and there and they would brag about how they got them through drug busts, etc. What a kick in the teabag to the dealers... :punch:

there was an LT1 convertible in the St. Patty's parade on water st. this year...white and said that the car was confiscated on the back of it...ha ha ha ha ha

Either they bought it used or it just a Z28 that has the hood. An SS is not meant for special service.

Its just seems so unusual... why all of a sudden would MKE county have all these F body cop cars too... i can see 1-2 not half a dozen.

Ya speaking of drug confiscated cars they have a few nice ones downtown in district 1. Seen a 72 chevelle SS no lie and a 70 some cutlass...mint condition...also a confiscated LS1 WS6...the captains take home car...

It's real simple. The money they will make with these cars will more than offset any costs involved with their purchase. These unmarked Camaros serve only one purpose, and it isn't law enforcement. It's revenue generation. The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Dept. must've heard how much money the Town Of Norway was making with their lone Camaro... :flipoff2:

IHO, if the fuking pigs can drive around in unmarked Camaros to fool us dopey civilians, maybe I should go buy a PI Crown Vic, fully dressed out in pseudo State Patrol trim, and go flying down the road with lights blazing and siren wailing. :thumbsup
