Ok.....Im Motivated! I got all my tube steel cut to size and notched for my cage. I just need to get it welded up now. Just ordered two seats and harnesses from Summit. I want this car done! Anyways, If any of you own or know of a place I can rent a GOOD TIG welder, let me know. I want to start putting my cage in. I could also use a extra set of hands if anyone is interested, beer and food provided!

You can actually buy one these days for a fairly decent price. You'll always have one then for future projects. It's always nice to have one.

Sounds like a good job for Tom at OTE (Topfueltom) on this site. Or Skeeter. He makes awsome roll cages too, I am sure he could give you a hand. www.skeeter57.com

Im sure it would be a job for him and im sure he is damn good at what he does from what ive seen but I am a very good TIG welder myself and already have the cage cut to size and mocked up. It just needs to be welded in. So....Looks like im gonna have to start checking those equpment rental places!

To be honest I would like to do it myself, not that I dont trust other peoples welds, but ive really been the only hand on this car from start to finnish other then a few of my close friends, it would be nice to finnish it with my own hands and a helper. I prefer to weld it myself.
