An old guy that lives by my Dad's gave this car to Rawhide, but he got it back from them and sold it to me. 78 Lesabre, he bought it new, just had the motor completely rebuilt, interior is 100% perfect, I got 2 kids, so this is the new family car! I want to find some nice old school wire wheels for it, if anybody has any they want to part with....

Just some old school Cragar Star Wires or something, to dress it up a bit... no dubs, too expensive!

Car has 100,000 on it, but the motor has less than 1,000 on complete rebuild. It was re-painted 2 years ago, and a month ago he paid $250 to have a new headliner installed, the old dude cared about this car! He traded it in on a brand new Lesabre, the dealer gave him $350 for it, but when he dropped it off, he teared up because he had it so long, since new, so they gave him the $350 and told him to keep the car. He had no place to park it, so it sat at the dealer, he called Rawhide to pick it up, then he stopped and talked to my brother, and my brother told him I'd buy it. He called Rawhide back to cancel, but they already picked it up, so he told them his new car deal fell through, he needed it back. Long story, sorry, but I think it's a cool cruiser, and my wife loves driving it! :thumbsup Happy wife = Happy me :banana1:
