Speaking of these... i think i herd judge this go RIPPING by at like a buck-10 behind the house last night...

Then when ripping through the gears on clover rd? That thing is loud enough that i can hear it into 4th gear on that other road.

Weird, I work at a Pontiac Dealership and havn't heard anything about this... lol... Then again it wouldn't be a big thing for me... Seeing that as it seems we don't sell too many of them...

Thought it was common knowledge, did some light reading on a GTO forum last month and people made it sound like a done deal and that production had already stopped or was about to. I'd like a brazen orange 06' as a daily....maybe when the prices drop a bit by 09' or 10'. :D

Kinda figured this would happen with the low sales and constant "LOL CAVALIER" comments....me included.

They need to do somthing different anyways. Im very disapointed that they put the GTO name on that car in the first place. :fire

LOL

Pontiac got the car "right" in 1965. After that it went down hill, culminating with the Ventura based GTO in 1974. :puke

:punch: To GM and Bob Lutz for resurrecting the GTO name and slapping it on some bloated V8 powered IMPORTED Cavalier.

They needed a 4 or 6 cyl version to help cut production costs. Even a 4 cyl turbo would broaden the appeal.

04 GTOs sold- 13,569
05 GTOs sold- 11,590

I wonder how many 06s they have sold so far.

What were the production numbers for the F-bodies in their final years?

me? never. besides if I was ripping by your house I'd be doing at least a buck 25 or better at that point.

if you hear it on clover, either it's a good wind pushing the sound your way or not me. it's still stock other than a muffler swap.

good riddance, GTO sucked.

I'm proud to own it whether you Call it a Holden Monaro, Vauxhaull Monaro, Chevrolet Lumina or Pontiac GTO. (depending on where in the world you live)
